My Take
Google Drive has become my go-to for collaboration in the classroom. When I'm training teachers on the best tools for communication and collaboration, Google is the best choice for teachers and students. Everything is stored in one place. Everything can be shared and collaboration is easy.
How I Use It
One of my favorite uses of Google Drive is to have students create collaborative notes for the class. Guide students with either a Cornell notes style template, or I create a table with columns of topics for the notes. Assign a student to each column to get them started. Before you know it the whole class is collaborating and sharing notes. This is also a great way for the teacher to see if they get it!
