Google Classroom is an excellent Web 2.0 application, it facilitates blended learning and expands learning time, encourages students participation and collaboration and it goes along with Google Apps. It is user friendly and free. It is accessibe on any platform and through any device.
How I Use It
I use Google Classroom to enhance my blended learning classroom. Each of my classes have their own code, and can participate on our online community. I assigned homewrok, share documents and post forums for students to participate online. Students ask questions and collaborate with one another through Google Classroom. However, wish it has features to allow educators to create quizzes and also allows students to received notification via text on their cells. EDMODO has these features and it makes it easier for educators to generate quizzes, grade and students/parents are accountabe for learning and progress in class.
