My Take

I think that the Google Classroom application serves as a very productive teaching tool booth inside and outside the classroom. I like the fact that both my students and I are able to share with each other resources such as links to educational websites, documents, and files by using the message board function. It would serve my students better if there was a more user friendly interface regarding providing help navigating and using the classroom, as I feel it takes some trial and error to master this application.

How I Use It

I have my students join the Google online classroom that I create for them. Students then have access to all assignments, announcements, and files I post up on the classroom. I use the Google Classroom to post up assignments, in which my students then submit the document to me once completed, then I am able to make comments (Glows and Grows) on their documents. I also post up announcements, which serve as a way to remind students on what instructions to follow for a specific assignment. In addition, I use the posting of announcements function to upload my actual PowerPoint lesson presentation of the day, and other resources such as graphic organizers for students to download.
