My Take

Although it is not necessarily a Common Core teaching tool that teaches content, it does help kids get refreshed and refocused. It is great for transitions between lessons or periods, and it actually entices students to return to class on time! They hate to miss their brain break!

How I Use It

When I see low energy levels in the classroom I know that I've got to get them up out of their seats and moving if I want them to continue to stay focused. This website is perfect for a quick brain break. It it highly engaging, and it gets the wiggles out while getting the blood pumping. There are high energy brain breaks as well as calming brain breaks, depending on classroom need.
