My Take

Feedly is an RSS reader that pretty much took the place of Google Reader as the "go-to" blog post aggregator. It is not, by design, an educational app per se, but for teachers who facilitate the ethic of student blogging in the classroom, the need to actually aggregate their posts for the purposes of collaboration and shared knowledge is paramount. Feedly is pretty seamless once it's set up, with a bit of a process to actually get it set up.

How I Use It

Feedly is not unto itself an amazing app for facilitating student learning. It's just an RSS aggregator. Once you have your students set up with, say, a category with all the student blogs from your class or a category of strong and relevant readings, your students will have easy access to the readings they need easy access to.
