The digital note-taking support of the paid version is a tremendous resource for supporting student research.

My Take

I highly recommend the subscription version of Easybib for supporting student research because it moves beyond the bibliography into the note-taking process. There's a slight learning curve at first, but that time investment pays off considerably throughout the year.

How I Use It

Note-taking in the digital era seems to be forgotten; many teacher assume students know how to take notes while researching, and in my experience that's where students flounder. While they may understand the task and the expected outcome, the process can be overwhelming. The subscription version provides digital note cards that help make the process easier and assist with understanding and avoiding plagiarism. We implemented this county-wide a few years ago and it has been very well-received by teachers and students.
