Overall, I think this is a great resource as a teaching tool. I like that it uses pictures and words to support what is being taught. It is a useful tool for students to work individually to practice their language skills. The user can keep track of their progress, something that allows a person to note their accomplishments.
How I Use It
This tool can be used to support the learning of a new language. I would use this tool to support what is being taught in class. Since the level of difficulty gradually increases, this tool can help students to build on what they have learned. This app is interactive so it encourages students to keep working and reach the next level.

It is ok if you wanna be a beginner
I think it is alright. There are a lot of paywalls for this so you wont get the best experience unless you pay money. It never taught you any conjugations of words and not how to hold a conversation. It teaches you words instead of being able to speak it.

Perfect For Learning A New Language
Duolingo is perfect for learning a new language because it incorporates all areas required to understand a language fully. The sections it provides that test the ability to write and listen as well as speak in the language make Duolingo much different than other language learning platforms.

Enjoyable way to learn a new language
Learning a language should be fun and Duolingo makes sure to follow that. Lessons build up as students progress in their new language. If students need additional help with a particular field in their language, Duolingo provides support options that educators can access for their students. Also, overall it is easy to navigate with little to no technical issues.
