My Take

A nice, cost-effective tool but it is best used as a supplement to the classroom. This would be a great addition and way to track student independent work while learning a new language. Although it is intuitive, there are times when a student will use a word for an item that doesn't align with the Duolingo chosen work for the answer and thus it is marked incorrect. This could be very frustrating to students.

How I Use It

Best used for individualized practice. Duolingo provides information to students on their own language strengths and weaknesses and offers more practice and then allows students to continue learning new language elements.
