My Take
It's a very fun, non threatening way to learn a new language. It works well for both visual and auditory learners. Having a daily goal helps to keep students excited to learn and progress. Overall it's a great app for learning and practicing a new language.
How I Use It
This app is a great way to learn a new language. I've used it personally to practice Spanish skills. I enjoy the way it both teaches skill and assesses your skill in a fun format. I especially enjoyed the way the "coach" texts or emails you encouragement to continue building your skills. I've had students practice with the app and they have enjoyed using it.

It is ok if you wanna be a beginner
I think it is alright. There are a lot of paywalls for this so you wont get the best experience unless you pay money. It never taught you any conjugations of words and not how to hold a conversation. It teaches you words instead of being able to speak it.

Perfect For Learning A New Language
Duolingo is perfect for learning a new language because it incorporates all areas required to understand a language fully. The sections it provides that test the ability to write and listen as well as speak in the language make Duolingo much different than other language learning platforms.

Enjoyable way to learn a new language
Learning a language should be fun and Duolingo makes sure to follow that. Lessons build up as students progress in their new language. If students need additional help with a particular field in their language, Duolingo provides support options that educators can access for their students. Also, overall it is easy to navigate with little to no technical issues.
