My Take

I really enjoy this component, as the topics are timely and engaging. Students REALLY like the games and frequently ask if they can play them again or login from home. I would like to see more/different topics. This is the second year I have used with my students and so the repetition of material (not the topic) is not the best.

It would also be great to have this type of curriculum for K-3. (I do assign some components to 3rd.) Anytime we can get the message of Digital Citizenship. online safety, etc to kids through GAMES, it seems to be more engaging.

I am a Digital Citizenship Certified Teacher and our school is also certified.

How I Use It

As a whole group, we discuss the general topic . I ask questions and get student feedback. Next I have students login and complete one of of the assigned activities. A week or so later, we return to a whole group discussion. ( Sometimes I ask the same questions.)

Great interactive game to teach students leadership!!!

Overall i belive that its an effective tool for teachers to use so that students are always familiar with technology and how to use it it with integrity and how to follow the laws of respect online.What i liked about the games were that they were Interactive while also providing useful information wich could keep the students engaged. What I didn’t like is that they should make the games more fit for all ages because yes i know the games/ graphics are meant for early education, this activity should be available for all ages and the game should change depending on who’s using it.

This was a game that caused frustration for students using it.

I think this could be a great teaching resource if it was tweaked quite a bit. First of all, not every school has brand new computers. We don't always receive money to purchase technology. This year is the first year I've actually been told there is money in the budget and I could use it for technology. The game needs to work with older machines and cannot freeze up as often as it does.

BEST elementary website out there!

I love everything about this program. I would like to see some updated videos soon as the technology has changed. And when the videos are finished I don't like how they display the year. It makes me feel like I am outdated in my resources. I would also like every time cell phone is stated to be changed to "device." Not all kids have cell phones but almost every kid has access to a device that connects to the internet through wifi.
