Great interactive game to teach students leadership!!!
Overall i belive that its an effective tool for teachers to use so that students are always familiar with technology and how to use it it with integrity and how to follow the laws of respect online. What i liked about the games were that they were Interactive while also providing useful information wich could keep the students engaged. What I didn’t like is that they should make the games more fit for all ages because yes i know the games/ graphics are meant for early education, this activity should be available for all ages and the game should change depending on who’s using it.

This was a game that caused frustration for students using it.
I think this could be a great teaching resource if it was tweaked quite a bit. First of all, not every school has brand new computers. We don't always receive money to purchase technology. This year is the first year I've actually been told there is money in the budget and I could use it for technology. The game needs to work with older machines and cannot freeze up as often as it does.

BEST elementary website out there!
I love everything about this program. I would like to see some updated videos soon as the technology has changed. And when the videos are finished I don't like how they display the year. It makes me feel like I am outdated in my resources. I would also like every time cell phone is stated to be changed to "device." Not all kids have cell phones but almost every kid has access to a device that connects to the internet through wifi.

My students and I love Digital Passport! I have been using it with my intermediate students for the last four years! The lesson plans, video, and games are very engaging and instructional. It grabs each students' attention and gives them important info
I find Digital Passport to be a great way to introduce my students to digital citizenship and digital literacy. I am a technology teacher at an urban elementary school and this type of instruction is crucial to my students who may not get the parental guidance, about technology, at home.
My only gripe would be the game that goes with Privacy. This is a very important concept for students but the game is very difficult to manipulate and many students including me are unable to complete the lesson because of the game.

Digital Citizenship learning though games, videos , and worksheets
It requires a bit in the way of initial setup, because you have to create logins for each user. That's worthwhile though because it allows you to track their progress. I love that each "game" begins with an overview video of students genuinely discussing the issue. That seems to make it more real and relatable for my students. Overall this is one of the best ways I've found (and I've tried a few) to teach digital citizenship for a K-8 crowd.

Fun and interactive way to teach students Digital Citizenship!
I think the videos are the best. The students relate to them and it allows them to open up and share their opinions and experiences. The share jumper activity was frustrating to many students. If they tried it, I did not require them to complete the mission. Several students persevered and almost everyone ended up completing the mission.

Thanks to Digital Passport our students are safe, respectful and responsible on and offline!
I feel very fortunate to have come across this resource, as I know that the skills being taught are essential for our 21st century learners. Communicating with classroom teachers and student's families has also been key in the development of educating our students with Digital Passport. Ensuring that all teachers and families are aware of the students knowledge will assist in holding the students to the standard of being safe, respectful and responsible digital citizens. We discuss often as a class how these essential learnings do not only apply in Tech class. They MUST be practiced and held accountable in all aspects of their digital life.

FUN GAMES FOR DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP! Great and addicting games but the learning part has TLDR syndrome...
The videos, the lessons, and the teacher materials section are fantastic! They really added a lot to further instruction! However the games weren’t as successful as I would have liked. The games required a lot of reading which most students tended to just skim, guess, and then continue playing the game without really thinking. The games are fun, and the students did like them, but they just didn’t learn as much as I feel the game developers intended and it was a bit repetitive. Also I wish the students could replay certain levels, since once I saw the grades I knew exactly which ones they just guessed on to play the game.

Fun games and great learning activities to help students become better digital citizens!
The games definitely have strengths by allowing the students to answer questions and learn skills on how to be better digital citizens while they are playing an entertaining game. My students definitely look forward to playing these games. Additionally, the missions are directly related to the topic in the games and help my students to further advance and display what they have learned.
Some of the weaknesses have been in the Share Jumpers game. This game is definitely too difficult for most fourth graders, so many of my fourth graders were not able to get to the mission because they couldn’t complete the game. Also, the instructions for the missions were to print off the missions and then complete. If we’re talking about using technology, I feel that the mission directions should instruct us to use technology to complete the missions. This was not an issue since I told my students to use different programs to complete the missions, but maybe this could be listed as an option in the directions. Also, every day we have problems with the website. Many times my students receive error messages and they have to wait until the website is up again before they can continue their work. This can be frustrating when it happens on a daily basis.
The strengths and information given on this website definitely surpass the weaknesses, so I will continue to use the website with my students.
