My Take
Desmos is both user friendly and aesthetically pleasing which makes it an excellent tool for communicating data in a visually pleasing way. It is very intuitive to use but does require applicable background knowledge. It is not a self-guided learning platform for students, but rather a useful tool to aid in calculation and graphing that possesses an incredibly high functionality. I look forward to seeing the development of their collaborative, interactive lessons as they may be few but are quite rich.
How I Use It
Desmos works excellently as a demonstration tool particularly because of its ability to animate graphic visualizations and interact with the user.
Its new collaborative lessons are of a high level of quality and make for a fun, interactive experience for students with well thought-out, engaging questions.
