My Take
I liked how easy it was to find content related to topics of interest to me/my class. My students were definitely engrossed in what they were doing even though at the end they said it was a little "babyish." Even my struggling readers were able to use it effectively. Having closed-captioning on video is great too. The kids said they didn't feel like they were learning, "just having fun!" but there is good content in the videos with lots of learning potential if you use it well.
How I Use It
I used this website with end of the year third graders. They were easily able to get onto the website and access the content themselves, which is important for any website to be used with kids! I wanted kids to explore it independently and they were both excited and able to do so.
