My Take
My students LOVE cue think. They love making their "presentation" on their app and explaining it to others. They also like going in and commenting on others Thinklets. It is a great way to keep the students engaged and also present harder problems that may take more time to complete then just one class period. I am able to comment on their Thinklets and it is easy for them to see those comments! Overall, I love having access to this app in my classroom and would totally recommend this for any math teacher.
How I Use It
I use it as an independent assignment for students to complete during our math center rotations. I would assign different problems based on what we are currently learning and/or as a review from a previous unit. Each time we progressed to a different standard, I would then go back into my assignments and assign newer problems that the students can complete. It is easy to assign students problems since they have a problem bank that you can sort by Common Core Standard. You can also easily make your own problems and assign it to students. It is really cool to see your students explaining what they have learned on their own and is a very good way to see if their are still misunderstandings/misconceptions in students mathematical thinking.
