My Take

As a teacher, I needed to find a coding exercise that was appropriate to an wide range of experienced students. Codesters was wonderful because there are a variety of entry and exit points. the students were especially engaged by the debugging activities.

How I Use It

My fourth graders have tons of coding experience, but Codesters was an introduction to Python for most of them. They loved seeing actual code even when they used the clic-and-drag features. A great feature was the ability to edit code directly onto the code editor window. It was very difficult for them to stop at the end of a 45-minute period.
