My Take
I think this is a great tool. Teachers love how easy it is to implement. It is very engaging for the kids. One kid told me, "It teaches you how to create a game by making you play a game." The videos are also interesting, informative and relevant. Kids enjoy getting advice from experts in the field.
How I Use It
Currently we are using this in our 8th period class which is designed for enrichment, interventions and extended learning opportunities. Students are able to work individually at their own pace, but students who are able to move through the material quickly are more than willing to help students who are struggling a bit.

The best of the best for early coding!
Code.org is an incredible teaching tool. I love how accessible it is for both teachers and students, even those who are brand new to coding. The lessons are engaging, interactive, and designed to be fun, which helps keep students motivated. I also appreciate the wide range of resources and support for educators

beginner friendly good for practicing basic concepts
I think overall this is a relatively good tool to use to begin practicing basic concepts to learn coding. I don't think it is very good for very intermediate level concepts like learning functions or classes but it's very good for learning the basics like variables, loops, lists and so on. I like how there are multiple different types of game related concepts especially familiar ones like Minecraft it makes it more engaging for younger audiences. I do wish that some of the tasks and games would have better performance but I understand that can be very difficult to implement for a multifaceted web design like this. Overall I think it's really great and should definingly be tried to teach beginners
