My Take

I like Chem-4-Kid, as stated before though, I feel it's for a more remedial audience or even best suited for a conceptual type setting, like conceptual chemistry or a physical science course. I think the website does a good job of explaining the concepts well; it's not very interactive though. It's set up in a more traditional website style, with passages of content organized in different groups.

How I Use It

I've used Chem-4-Kids as a part of a WebQuest that explains the organization of the periodic table. I thought it was effective and that students understood the concepts better after completing the WebQuest. I think it worked well. Content was more suited for upper middle school or lower high school in terms of difficultly and intended audience I felt.
