Chatgpt serves as a partner for students, promoting engagement and curiosity. Its ability to respond to requests on a very broad range of topics makes it an intriguing addition as a teaching tool. However, AI does not always provide fully accurate answers, and users need to be prepared to address these inaccuracies.
How I Use It
Chatgpt is an interactive tool to engage students in various subjects. It works well in prompting discussions where students can ask about literature.

Tool that is so powerful that could hurt you if you are not careful.
The AI itself does not know the knowledge, it repeats what people have stated on the internet based on its training material. Which often comes about right, but when it does not, it is the user's job to catch them, and it could be frustrating if you rely too much on it. People should not be scared of it, but also should not rely on it.

Really no use in the classroom.
ChatGPT often cites locations where it should not, such as an ironic website or false informational site. This does not teach students skills of looking at the quality of a source and instead incentivizes them to ignore the trustworthiness of a source.
