My Take
I love the ease of use and access. It's free and easy to use and get students using in the classroom. I love that my students have the option to create digital media without having to pay hundreds of dollars getting graphic design tools that professionals use when they are only starting to explore. Students seem to take to the app in a snap and want to use it again (which is a huge plus)
How I Use It
Students used original ideas and created graphic representations of historical events. Loved that you can upload and change photographs easily. Somewhat limited to what you can do after you insert and change images. Great app for beginners who have little prior access to graphic design media.

Versatile and Comprehensive
Canva is a great resource for teaching as it has greater functionality than google slides and allows for a higher degree of flexibility and accessibility. For example, the video functionality in Canva has access to an automatic captioning tool that can be edited and translated.

Offers a wide range of tools.
Overall a good tool to help teachers or students find creative ways to complete otherwise mundane tasks/lessons. Offers a wide range of abilities and would be hard to find a way in which in can't be useful.

Canva for Education is a powerful and versatile tool
Canva for Education is a powerful and versatile tool that empowers educators to create stunning visuals and engaging learning materials. It offers a user-friendly interface and a vast library of templates, making it easy to design everything.
The real difference between the normal canva and the educational one is what its gonna mostly be used for. As the name suggests educational canva will probably be geared to more students and teachers, offering educational aspects. For me, Canva's tools for creating accessible content is a great way to ensure that all students can participate in their creativity.
