My Take
I remember using this so often when I was a younger student. BrainPOP consistently has information and videos revolving around a myriad of topics that young kids can easily benefit from.
Some parts of the site feel very dated, but I do very much like the sheer amount of available content on the site. There are so many options for all sorts of young learners. Each topics has different quizzes, related vocabulary, and related readings. The characters are relatable and cute for younger children too.
How I Use It
I would absolutely use this to touch on specific topics to subsequently quiz my students on. It's something that can be additional to other subjects that are being taught within the course.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
