My Take
I would definitely use BrainPOP as a resource for teaching, particularly for young children as I believe it would interest them more. I like how much material BrainPOP has, from Science all the way to Social Studies. The skits that are on the website are very funny, and if used correctly I believe students can benefit greatly.
How I Use It
I would use this resource as way for my students to learn about different subject matters, while staying engaged and interested. Kids can often become distracted when learning new material, BrainPOP's ability to keep the student interested in the material being presented is great.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
