My Take
BrainPOP is a very engaging application. Utilizing animated characters to explain concepts kept me intrigued. I appreciated the application's straightforward storytelling approach to applying concepts. I do not recommend this source for individuals who are in high school and above. It does not go as in-depth as concepts taught in high school and beyond. In addition, the application now requires a subscription, thus making the resource less accessible to students and educators.
How I Use It
BrainPOP is a nostalgic application for me. I remember my middle school teachers utilizing various videos from the site to introduce concepts. I believe the source is an excellent method of introducing a concept only due to a lack of in-depth explanations.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
