My Take
I think this is an excellent teaching tool that caters to the digital natives. I like the extensive list of topics as well as the supplemental activities that can be used to deepen understanding. It can be used as a whole group, small group, or individually.
How I Use It
This is a great website with a plethora of developmentally appropriate information for students. It can be used for introducing a lesson, reviewing a concept, summarizing a topic, etc. There are many options to extend learning - quizzes, games, activities.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
