My Take
BrainPOP is a great resource! I like that there are so many videos on a variety of topics and that all videos are organized by topic. The videos are standards based and provide additional content such as activities, games, Q&A, quizzes, and more. Related videos are suggested and videos even have lesson plan ideas. All videos have closed captioning.
How I Use It
Our middle school science department uses BrainPOP the most, although the entire middle school has access. The teachers use BrainPOP to introduce complex topics of chemistry, engineering, physics, and more. Students were engaged and enjoyed the short, simple videos.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
