My Take
It offers the students an opportunity to see something from a different perspective or delivered in an alternative fashion. They seem to really enjoy the way it is presented and it allows them to work together when it is quiz time. It fosters discussion and allows the students to work through the material.
How I Use It
I enjoy using this after I have taught something as opposed to using to teach something. I enjoy using it in a whole group or small group setting. We watch the video, pause for questions and the students take the quiz after.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
