My Take

One of the great strengths of using MyBrainPop is that I got detailed results on the assessment. I could really see what the students understood and where there were holes in their understanding. This will inform my teaching for next year and what to review with these same students in 6th grade.

How I Use It

I used it to produce a Digital Citizenship course for my 5th graders. I used MyBrainpop to invite them to my class so that I could create a targeted assessment based on the films we watched and the FYIs we read as a group and the discussions we had. I had them take the quiz as a group at the end of class as a quick review. I had them all open a new note in their Notablity app to produce a study guide based on their notes. I gave them a template with basic notes to take but with space to add their own comments as well. They added to the Notability app note at each session.
