My Take

Tim and Moby have a way of captivating the students' attention while explicitly and clearly explaining concepts. The videos are entertaining and also very educational. The only draw back to the website is the cost. There are many free videos, but many of the features require a paid subscription.

How I Use It

I frequently show Brain Pop videos on the SMART Board to introduce new concepts to my students. I have also used the videos to provide re-teaching for struggling students. The quizzes are a quick and easy formative or summative assessment.
