My Take
I use BrainPOP daily in instruction. My students have gotten used to to the characters in the videos and have grown to love the humor. The videos help teach students complicated ideas in a very simple manner. The videos tend to go more in depth than my curriculum, but it never hurts for students to learn more.
How I Use It
I use it when introducing a new topic- mainly in science. There are videos in many subject areas, however. Students can watch the videos on their iPads through the App, or we watch them together as a class. There are also quizzes that students can take after the videos, but we don't use those as much. Great tool!

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
