My Take
I use BrainPop videos and activities for every available topic I teach. It provides a different voice and images for my content. I usually view the videos as a post teaching tool to review lessons and concepts.
How I Use It
I have adapted many of the printable activities so I don't have to make too many paper copies. But I have a smart board which allows for more hands on the technology. I have the students select the answers for the online review quizzes.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
