Community Review for BrainPOP
My Take
Tim and Moby do a great job presenting material in an interesting and fun manner. While some of the high school students think BrainPop is too "Middle School" they respond positively to the video after we have watched it together. Nearly all of them are willing to participate in the "test" and follow-up quesitons after the video.
How I Use It
I use BrainPop when introducing a new subject or idea. This is especially useful when we are discussing something my students have learned previously but might not remember. BrainPop is a short and amusing way to reintroduce the idea. We will occasionally re-watch a video before a test for review if needed.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
