My Take
This app is great because it has many levels of learning. There is a video, worksheets, a quiz, and extra reading material and games to accompany the lessons.
How I Use It
My students use the BrainPop app on their phones or the iPads as an option in their assignment choices. They can watch the video as many times as they like, and they must show or email me their quiz grade. The video/audio is great for lower level readers and ESL, and the higher level students can read the extra reading material and skip the video if they feel they are already familiar with the material. I use it as a review for previously introduced material.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
