Community Review for BrainPOP
My Take
BrainPop is a great product for simplifying complex ideas and content and generating "hooks" for deeper learning. It's a great lesson starter, or at the end of a unit it can be used for remediation (a word I don't like) or review of the lesson. There is a wealth of information on every subject area here and if you have the money it is worth the investment. This works great on interactive white boards or large screen displays.
How I Use It
I use BrainPop to introduce concepts, and review concepts at the end of units.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
