My Take
This site has a number of really great videos for students to watch, and then gives them quizzes, activities, games and more for them to do based on what they've just learned. The videos are a very high quality and they tasks are challenging. Worth the subscription.
How I Use It
I would have students watch the video, then complete the quizzes. They would email the results to me. They would then complete the activities and play the games afterwards. I use this in many subjects, such as language, math, health, science etc. If I didn't have access to a lab, I would show the videos on a projector, and have the quizzes and activities printed out for them to complete.

Provides brief and understandable explanations about new topics
I believe that this tool is extremely helpful in educational settings. The animations of the videos help students remain attentive while watching videos and ensure that they have a brief understanding of the topics.

BrainPOP is awesome for young learners!
I do think brainPOP is great for young learners. This teaching tool is very interactive, you will find things like quizzes, small assignments, and little activities during the video to mess around with. The video is also great for young learners, they make it so students don't feel distracted. In other words, brainPOP makes learning fun! I liked all these things, I like interactive teaching tool that does more than play a video on a topic.
