My Take

Outstanding training resources that require a few faculty workshops to get your teachers aware of all of the benefits such as graded assignments for extended learning.

How I Use It

We use BrainPop in our classrooms on iPads, and also in the library to support units. The elementary teachers enjoy it because they can assign homework on special units in social studies and science. I believe that the teacher accounts and ability to track student progress and create your own quizzes is a wonderful tool that not enough teachers know about. I held a 2 day workshop on utilizing the teacher accounts and it really made a difference to my faculty. The professional educator community features are exciting. Again, while everyone is aware of the great student interaction, more promotion needs to be made toward the professional features for teachers. Our foreign language teachers especially enjoyed the ESOL version for advanced Spanish classes.
