Book Creator allows students to easily create a professional looking book. There are so many features: different book orientations, rich formatting, import video, audio (music, speech), freehand drawing, and send to iBooks or email ePub file (then open in iBooks).
How I Use It
Students can become published authors, or have a story created for them (like social stories). They can demonstrate their learning about a particular topic, science experiment, field trip, community person interview, etc. Teachers can also create iBooks for students at various levels (nice for differentiation). As well Languages teachers can have students input information on the culture and then speak the language within the book using the built-in speech recorder. Social Studies - I have shown teachers that they can use the Fotopedia Heritage app to have students search for information and great creative commons photography and input this into their iBook research projects which make the books "pop" with imagery and relevant information.
