Blendspace is great for flipping, personalizing, and differentiating instruction.
Community Review for Blendspace
My Take
I love this tool because I can collaborate with colleagues to build and share the lesson content. Content can be curated from any source, added, revised and arranged as needed. It is incredibly easy to level the content for all learners. Students can revisit the lesson anytime, and I like the option to add formative assessments throughout. Blendspace can be used to: flip a lesson, provide scaffolded support in a class station or strategy group, keep students connected if they are away from school, and serve as a re-looping/review resource.
How I Use It
I use Blendspace when I am teaching because I can have all of my presentation materials in one place and share it all with a click of a button. I don't have to go through the lesson in order if I notice that my learners need something different. The tool is easy to use and navigate. The only issues I have experienced are that there, at times, small delays while waiting for slide content to appear. Also, when I enter my own text, I have to take extra time to format the text so that is visible from all areas of the room.
