My Take

My kids loved that their opinions were being put online and they felt very important. This is a great reviewing tool, making students stop and think about what they just finished reading.
I think helps serve kids better because it creates a digital and social connection to their reading, which is what students from this generation are craving.

How I Use It

I have just began to use Biblonasium. As a Media/Technology Specialist I was looking for a social type connection that my students could use to help the students make connections to their books. My students are able to search for any book that they've read and write a review that their peers can see. The students had an easy time logging in, more difficult for second grade students as opposed to fifth graders. It worked much better to have a template for the students to follow when they were writing their reviews, as this made sure they were giving enough information to make a good review.
