My Take
I think this is a great product for lesson planning. Sometimes I feel like my creativity has been taken from me, and this site helps me get it back. It is also great because each lesson is created with Common Core standards in mind.
When you visit the site, you'll be given the option to explore work created by master teachers or just search subject and grade level. Master teachers have tons of lessons on their page, and it is easy to find a few that have perfect lessons for your class. The subject and grade level material can help you streamline your search.
Overall, it's a great place to get ideas for your classroom. Sign up and explore.
How I Use It
I love to use this product when I am trying to come up with a new idea for a lesson. Reading other teacher's lesson plans helps spark my imagination, so I just head over to Better Lesson and browse the wonderful ideas that educators have created. I've never actually used a lesson from the website, but I do take ideas to help create my own.
