My Take
From the beginning I paid for the Baamboozle+ membership and felt the fee was reasonable compared to some of the other similar edutech sites available. I use it daily because there are a wide variety of games pre-made by other users and the search function is helpful in finding what I want. If I can't find exactly what I'm looking for, creating a game is easy and fast. I like to use it for test reviews, warm-up and cool-downs and as a way to keep students engaged. One thing I would like to see would be a better way to keep the games saved in a folder.
How I Use It
I was fortunate to find this site at the start of the pandemic and it was invaluable while teaching online. While some of the games may not be relevant to what your focus is, you are able to make your own in no time. Creating a game is very easy and if you already have flashcards in Quizlet you can easily import the information over into Baamboozle. They have been adding additional ways to play that make all of the games a game within a game. While it is great for a review of information, I've found it's an excellent warmer and ice breaker. My students love playing and it's an easy way to keep them engaged and focused in class.
