My Take
I like Animoto for students to piece together the problems of history using relevant images. Even the available music can set the tone for the project.
I find it must be used occasionally so that students see a value in the activity, not just a fun way to make a presentation.
How I Use It
Animoto is good at making students summarize stories by using pictures only. Projects could be shared via a web link and published. Students would be able to comment / review other student work. Great for individual and small group. Can be used a a homework assignment as well.

Great for Beginners
I like that it so easy to use, but I would say that it is something for beginners and if you are more advanced and like to be more hands-on with your projects to maybe go for a different program.

Easy to use and great for visualizations
The product is amazing, as it is extremely easy for students to use. The results are those of professional videos without the extensive need for software and video editing skills.

Good app that is beginner friendly as well!
In my opinion, this app is very good! and beginner friendly as well! For someone who is just being introduced to video making, or just wants a quick way to make a nice video, this is the app for you.
