My Take
Animoto will add gloss and shine to any photo, video, and title slide presentation so long as students focus on meaningful content.
How I Use It
Start with story boarding and use a well-defined rubric checklist to get the most out of Animoto, then watch student learning come to life. Too much time and attention may be spent on imagery and music, so set limits.

Great for Beginners
I like that it so easy to use, but I would say that it is something for beginners and if you are more advanced and like to be more hands-on with your projects to maybe go for a different program.
