My Take
Animoto is an incredible resource for students to use in creating presentations and digital videos. Students can upload digital pictures, insert text, and apply their favorite type of music to their Animoto to produce a web-based digital presentation or video that is both impressive and reflective. A dynamic tool, its simplicity and advanced settings are exactly what every learner makes of it.
How I Use It
I have used Animoto with my student aides in our school library. They have created book trailers (preview/promotional presentations about a book to convince others to read it) and we have placed QR codes linking to the book trailers inside those titles in our library collection. Additionally, my aides have created Animoto videos to promote Teen Read Week. Those were shared school-wide and were considered very impressive to the teachers and other students!
