My Take
Animoto is an easy tool for creating engaging videos from photos taken for just about any purpose. I really like that I don't need to spend valuable time on selecting transitions or visual effects to have a beautiful video. I can choose from a varied selection of music on the Animoto web site.
How I Use It
My favorite use of Animoto is for sharing photos from special events or field trips. It's not difficult to embed your Animoto video on a school or class web page to share with the world. A link could also be provided to view the video on the Animoto site.

Easy to use and great for visualizations
The product is amazing, as it is extremely easy for students to use. The results are those of professional videos without the extensive need for software and video editing skills.

Simple Platform with various customization
The pricing is a bit steep for the limited features offered in the free version. The lack of customization options for fonts and layouts is another drawback but the ability to upload videos to various platforms like YouTube and Vimeo and share them to students or colleagues is dynamic
