The students are engaged and they are happy about using the website. The music and graphics are motivating. There are many activities in all subject areas.
How I Use It
I starting using this site to review what the students knew about technology using "Find the Technology." Kindergarten students used the website to practice their mouse skills. After discussing with the classroom teachers, students can get extra time in reinforcing the skills.

Educational yet Enjoyable!
Ever since I was in kindergarten, teachers would allow us to go on ABCya during computer class. I was not confident technology wise as a young child so this exposure made me much more comfortable. The games were all so fun to play with, I remember my class was always so excited whenever we got to go on ABCya. Looking back, I didn't even realize how educational the games actually were; I didn't even notice as a kid playing, I was too busy having fun!

Versatile and fun for any age
This app's versatility makes it perfect for a classroom setting. There are many games to choose from, and several age groups are represented (K-6). From math to reading to typing, Abcya has something for everyone! Whatever your students need to learn, you can find a game on this app for them.

Free version has many ads, but does the job.
There are many ads, which sometimes makes the mobile version unusable, but overall ABCya is good for its value given that it is free. The variety of games is a double edged sword though, as students don't have a learning path to follow since they are free to choose whatever they'd like to play. This can be overwhelming to some students.
