I wish you could not skip ahead on videos.

I have been teaching over 30 years and it is the most wonderful program I have EVER seen. Highly recommend!!!

Each unit has a variety of questions that challenge the mind. It also provides a step by step process that explains how to do each question. This would be great for students struggling with math. From my personal experience, many of my math teachers in the past had accents, which made it difficult for me to understand them in class. This would have been a great product for me to use.

The diversity and range in which students are provided allow students of all learning paces to effectively learn material that would otherwise be difficult to follow along within the classroom. Great website! Could not pick a better tool!

Students who are serious about wanting to learn and understand math concepts really can get a lot out of this tool. Students who are just looking for answers or that quick fix, who aren't really concerned with learning and improving their skills, may lose interest and disengage, which is the reason for my engagement rating, but those who are willing to persevere quickly realize that it is an essential support to help them be successful in their math courses and they return again and again throughout the school year. I have to admit that I love this part of it because there is that familiarity that is built between study experts and students and I believe that this also is crucial in the learning process. Having those repeat experiences helps to understand the unique skill levels and how to best approach the tutoring experience for returning students. Relationship building truly makes a difference. Even though it's all online, it's a safe, positive, and uplifting atmosphere where kids really start to connect with and gravitate toward the teaching styles of various study experts that they prefer to get help from on the wall or learn from in the videos. Additionally, some students are extra engaged because they want to help others and have a chance at earning enough Karma points to win prizes each month. These students not only get the benefit of learning to explain mathematical concepts, but they also learn new concepts along the way that they may not have seen previously. All interactions are moderated by the Study Expert on duty, so any misinformation provided by another student will always be caught, explained, and cleared up, which is all part of the real life learning process. This is something you definitely will want to tell your school district to get signed up for!

I really do love this resource! My students always come back after the state test and say their Algebra Nation Test Yourself quizzes prepared them for the state test. I like the ease of accessing Teacher Resources such as the mini assessments, independent practice, scaffolding information, and boot camp materials. I like that students can ask questions on the wall after school hours to get additional help. I like that there are multiple study experts for the students to be able to pick who they best learn from. Overall, I’m really glad my students have access to this resource.

Students are the best resource to determine the success of learning. They share the ease of finding topics, videos for practice, and the collaboration of study experts and students to solve equations. Students love that they earn Karma Points for helping others, helping to scaffold social and emotional mindfulness. This serves the whole child and his or her learning level.

I think the product is great. I love that they have videos with different teachers that fit different learning styles. I also appreciate that students have a resource to seek help after hours when school is out, such as the videos and the wall where students can post questions and get help from other students and study experts. I love this resource.
