Likes: -I find it helpful in laying out and organizing grades, doing math for me, calculating averages, etc. Dislikes: -boring interface (I wish it had colours indicating how a student did on an assignment (red for fail, yellow for average, green for amazing) -you can't have different grade category percentages for different classes -My larger concern is that I show the grades to students and 2 days ago there was an ad on the side for lingerie and underwear. I had a teen boy with me and I had to quickly change tabs. I refreshed it, and the ad went away but then came back 5 minutes later. -There is no way to talk to a real person and get support. Everything is directed to an email, which doesn't respond. They have a paid version to set up whole schools but there is no support for the free version. -It seems the whole thing is set up to run, but without oversight and support from the company.

It's a very great thing and overall really good for not public schools like OUSD is.

It is easy to use, but there is NO support if you have a question. I have had 3 questions (just yes or no questions) since we started using it. The support page takes you to an email link. After multiple emails to them, I have yet to receive a return email. If you call the phone number provided, it tells you to send them an email! We will be switching to another system because of the lack of support.

As a free grade book, thinkwave does the job. I do wish there was an app allowing for more convenience for both students and parents, but other than that, it is a solid tool.
