My Take
As a free grade book, thinkwave does the job. I do wish there was an app allowing for more convenience for both students and parents, but other than that, it is a solid tool.
How I Use It
I use this site as a gradebook. Students can access assignments and check their own grades throughout the year. Additionally, parents can stay connected to their students through this site.

Zero support
It is easy to use, but there is NO support if you have a question. I have had 3 questions (just yes or no questions) since we started using it. The support page takes you to an email link. After multiple emails to them, I have yet to receive a return email. If you call the phone number provided, it tells you to send them an email! We will be switching to another system because of the lack of support.
