I love using Quizizz in my classroom and the students always ask complete a quiz to follow up on a unit. There is always a positive response when I use Quizizz in my classroom.

I liked that this site allows the formatting of the quiz to be more unique and creative. Rather than just the boarding setup of Kahoot, this site allows the user to add gifs or photos, which in turn makes the overall presentation of the quiz more interesting. The site is easy to use and quizzes can easily be made. Overall, I think this is a wonderful alternative for Kahoot and can be used in the classroom to effectively assess student learning.

This site is NOT SAFE. Go ahead, search for a quiz. Type in "female" and see what you get. Porn. Not good,

I love Quizizz. It is versatile and serves all of my needs for reviews as a teacher. Not only does it work the way I need it to, it also gives me feedback as to how my students are performing.

I like that you can create your own quiz or choose from a bank of pre-made quizzes. The students get feedback in the form of a meme after each question, which they love. They each get a score and teachers get a data report. It is a good tool for a quick, engaging formative assessment.

I think this is a great way to get all students involved in a lesson. The students take turns and help each other out with questions. I wish there were sound effects.

I loved the fact that students can pick a character in the beginning. Students also like to see their rate and the response time is great.

Quizizz is one of my favorite digital tools! It’s simple to find a quiz someone else created, click to duplicate the quiz, and then edit it and make it mine. I can delete questions I don’t want with one click. But the best creation feature is that I can add questions from other “quizizz” to mine right there with the search feature and the preview of questions in the right-hand pane of this same window. (Of course, I can also create my own questions.) Another great feature is the one-click file system that allows me to save “quizizz” and organize them in class folders for easy access later. Of course, the fun memes are what makes “Quizizz” stand out from the other educational quiz sites like “Kahoot.” Sadly, there are a few public sets available to choose from which is my only significant complaint. However, you can create your own and share meme sets with colleagues. Sharing memes was a new feature added in the July update. I think more public meme sets are coming soon as they’ve also introduced a way to nominate your set for the “Hall of Fame.” You can quickly toggle off the meme feature (Why would you want to?) as part of the options when you launch a quiz. The best option you can toggle on and off is the time feature that scores higher points for faster responses. I usually turn this one off so that students who read or think more slowly aren’t penalized. The best way to use Quizizz is live, but you can set them up as “homework” which would be especially useful for students who miss class to still get the practice (especially if you are saving the data). My last comments are especially for Spanish teachers. I just recently discovered that you can get SPANISH memes by clicking on the Spanish flag in the top right corner when you initially sign on to launch the quiz. ¡Que padre! ¿Vale? And you can quickly copy and paste the accented letters you need when creating a quiz by using: http://spanish.typeit.org/.

Unlike other game-based assessment tools, this is great for students with 1:1 correspondence issues as it shows all questions and answers on their screen. It's also linked directly to Google Classroom which makes it easy to use and grade. The memes are super fun for the kids too.

I like this tool. It provides more flexibility in the speed that students can engage in the quiz. It is also assignable as homework using a quiz code.
