Good typing web portal: lots for settings for individual learners, good reporting tools for educators
Typing training formed the foundation of our typing program with its tracking and recording options and opportunity to individual the settings to a learner's needs and abilities. Updating the default interface for tests from top left with smaller font to a more central place for text reading and typing like the exercises would be my suggestions. The tutorial section needs an overhaul with more YouTube videos or animations rather text driven paragraphs. More games or even links to popular and free typing games curated from the web would be great. I did this my self on a site called symbaloo if interested.

Tantalizing Typing Training!
Typing Training is a wonderful resource to help students become proficient in typing to meet with the various technology goals and aid them in their classes. This would be a great resource to be introduced in school and then applied at home. It becomes addictive because students are really motivated to improve their typing scores. The games, Trivia Challenge, Goalie and Meteor Storm involve typing and learning fun and hold the students' attention. The training that was available for adults was helpful for me, as well. For special needs students there are many special features including one handed typing, shorter and more simpler exercises, and can be compatible with alternate input systems such as non-standard keyboard and on-screen keyboards, and speech recognition. In addition, you can try this site free for a month.
