This program is a good teaching tool. It is a good tool for teachers to keep track of their students progress. It can get boring and monotonous for the students, so I suggest doing it a couple days a week. I like the tool because of all of the levels that it presents and the kids can move up when they master a certain topic.

An effective tool for all students.

Anything that gives my students practice with immediate feedback I feel is a real asset. Also, it is standards alligned which I find not only helpful to me as a teacher but to families as well. As a parent, I use it as a way to see the skills that my own children are working on and the kinds of questions that they are being exposed to. It also provides audio for each question for those students who struggle with reading. I find that refreshing. I would like to see them beef of their "rewards" section so that older children can get just as excited as younger ones.

I use this App with my students on a daily basis. Their parents continue to use it with them at home. One thing I really enjoy about IXL.com is that my students and their families get support they need through the tutor part of the App and site.
